Schulz passes his high school exams with an “A” grade and a designation for university studies. At the instigation of his family, particularly his elder brother,
Schulz gives up his plans to study painting and passes the entrance exam for the Lwów Polytechnic, where he commences studies in the architecture department.As a result of his father falling ill, the shop is liquidated and the family moves into the home of Bruno’s sister, Hania, and her husband, Hoffman, on Bednarska Street (Floriańska).
